Duffin' Up Daily Fantasy Picks: Safeway Open

Writer's picture: Brendan MonroeBrendan Monroe

Alright Duff Daddies and Mamas, welcome back to another edition of the Duffin' Up Daily Fantasy picks! For this week's Safeway Open, I have compiled a great list of players that hopefully will make you some money! (But probably not because I suck at this).

Top Player to Avoid:

Si Woo Kim - $10,800: Si-Woo Kim had one top 10 during the 2019-2020 season. That's it. Literally one top-10, and he is the most expensive guy for the week? Absolutely not. Next!

High-Salary Player that is worth it:

Jordan Spieth - $9,800: Jordan didn't have the best season in the world, but there is something about Jordan Spieth that still gives off some magic. As one of the only, "big names" in the field this week, I could see him breaking back out and taking it in Napa.

Great Value Picks:

Robbie Shelton - $7,100: Robbie had a third place finish at the 3M Open and made 4 out of his last 5 cuts. I think he can build on his solid end to the season and continue to play good rounds.

Maverick McNealy - $7,300: Maverick had a great start and a decent end to last season. He made it to the BMW Championship and came in a respectable 40th. With a less crowded field this week, I could see him excel like he did at the Barracuda last year.

MY PICKS:

Joel Dahmen had another great season last year, only missing 4 cuts and nabbing 5 top-10s. Kevin Streelman had a strong ending to the season, I think he could make some moves with this field. A really strong end of the season for Cameron Davis and Mark Hubbard will hopefully propel them into having a great tournament. Finally, two value picks in Talor Gooch and Harry Higgs, who both made it to the BMW.
