Draftkings Fantasy Lineup: The Tour Championship

Writer's picture: Brendan MonroeBrendan Monroe

Alright Duff Daddies and Mamas, welcome back to another edition of Draftkings picks! For this week's Tour Championship, I have compiled a great list of players that hopefully will make you some money! (But probably not because I suck at this).

Top Player to Avoid:

Dustin Johnson - S15,200: At this point, I'm just going to die on this hill. Yes, he starts the tournament at 10-under par, but that salary is OUTRAGEOUS. The worst part is I love DJ, but I'm standing my ground here.

Player who will blow your cap, but is worth it:

Webb Simpson- $10,600: Webb took the BMW Championship off to rest for the Tour Championship. He was the only player who had this luxury, so we will see if it pays off. He finished T4 here in 2018, as well as T16 last year and T13 in 2017. I think Webb could come out of the gates refreshed and ready to go!

Great Value Picks:

Viktor Hovland - $6,600: I know Viktor is starting pretty far back in the field, but I think he could have another good start here. I think the course can play to his strengths, and he will have to go for birdies here.

Lanto Griffin - $5,600: Seriously, how is Lanto this low??? He has top 20s in two out of his last 3 starts and has been a force on the Tour all year! I honestly don't get this salary rating, but I am happy to take advantage of it!

MY PICKS:

It's no surprise here I started out with Webb Simpson, and I think he's going to have a big week in Atlanta. Next up is Collin Morikawa, who is 5th in the standings and needs a big week to claim the Title. Daniel Berger has had a great year, and I think he will try to go low. Tyrell Hatton and Kevin Kisner are both starting lower, but have the ability to shoot low. Finally, Lanto is a STEAL at $5,600.
